Kirkham Chauffeur services, a long established family business, based in Cambridge have made the move from the more taxi-based Cordic system, to implement our cloud-based chauffeur system.
Following their merger with Voyager Executive Cars, also in Cambridge, Kirkham Chauffeur Services now has Joanne Hickman, daughter of the founder at the helm. Going forward together, this merger sees the creation of a unified professional front to take on the chauffeuring industry in the Cambridge area.

The transition from the old working practices to the use of technology can be a challenge, but one that is vital to remain competitive and current. In Jo’s words
“When we first started in 1976 we wrote everything in a diary. After that we progressed to sticky notes so we could move them about from driver to driver. When computers and the internet arrived we designed our own basic database.
Moving on from there we went to Cordic, eight years ago but found it very rigid and aimed towards taxis not chauffeurs. CDS so far has been fabulous!”
