The Spring 2026 update to
CDS chauffeur management software
A rebuilt passenger app, smarter invoicing, flexible per-passenger pricing, a faster diary, and a lot more. Here's everything that's been developed in the last three months, and what it means for how you run your operation.
Running a professional chauffeur company in 2026 means your clients expect a seamless, technology-driven experience at every touchpoint, from the first booking to the final invoice. The right chauffeur management software isn't just an operational tool; it's a direct reflection of the quality of your service.
Over the past three months, the CDS team has been working hard across every layer of the platform. Some updates are big and immediately visible, like the complete overhaul of the Passenger App. Others are the kind of quiet improvements that save your team hours every week without you ever consciously noticing them. This post covers all of it.
"Whether you're running five vehicles or fifty, every update in this list was built with one goal in mind: helping you deliver a service your clients can't get anywhere else."
New features, performance upgrades, and fixes across the Passenger App, booking widget, invoicing, diary, pricing formulas, reporting, GNet, and more.
A new standard for passenger-facing technology
For operators of luxury ground transportation, the passenger experience is the product. The moment a client opens your app or visits your booking widget, they're forming a judgment about your brand. This quarter, we've invested heavily in making sure that first impression and every interaction that follows, is the best it's ever been.
The Voyager Passenger App has been entirely rewritten, and this wasn't a refresh. We did a full rebuild, with a significantly improved UI and UX, a smoother booking flow, and far better reliability. Every area of the app has been revisited: navigation, booking, real-time updates, and overall performance. The result is a genuinely professional, intuitive experience that reflects the quality of your service. Search for Voyager Premium Travel App on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
A dedicated passenger app for chauffeur companies has become an essential tool, for any operator competing at the premium end of the market. Corporate clients and frequent travellers expect to book, track, and manage their journeys through a polished app experience. The rebuilt Voyager app delivers exactly that. And for operators who want to take it further, CDS also offers fully white-labelled apps with your own company branding, name, and app store presence. The chauffeur software with online booking widget has been overhauled. The new widget is more responsive across screen sizes, much easier to theme and colour-match to your brand. It imports saved addresses from your system and client records, and crucially, now asks for passenger count and child seats earlier in the flow. So giving clients more accurate pricing upfront. Check the CDS help docs for instructions on upgrading your existing widget.
More flexible pricing controls for every scenario
Pricing in the chauffeur booking and dispatch software has always been one of CDS's strengths. This quarter we've added two new tools that give operators significantly more commercial flexibility. This is particularly useful if you're running a mixed fleet, or navigating rising fuel costs.
Two new fields, PAX Included and Price per PAX, have been added to fixed-price transfer formulas. You can now set a base price for up to a defined number of passengers, then charge a flat rate per additional passenger beyond that threshold. The system automatically checks the PAX No field and uses the higher of that or the actual passenger count. This is particularly valuable for MPV operators competing against smaller vehicles: price competitively for up to three passengers, then charge a fair rate for each additional seat.
A common question at CDS bootcamps: "Can I apply a fuel uplift on price but give all of that value to the chauffeur?" The answer is now yes. Apply a percentage uplift on the price side and enter the word PRICE in the cost field instead of a percentage. The system will pass the full price uplift value directly to the chauffeur. Simple, transparent, and fair.
Chauffeur invoicing software — faster, smarter, more visible
For any operator running corporate accounts, getting invoicing right is critical. Slow load times, missing data, and manual payment allocation all eat into your team's time and your clients' trust. The Build Invoices screen has had the most significant overhaul in this update cycle.
If you've been running a high volume of un-invoiced hires, you'll have noticed the Build Invoices screen could get sluggish. That's been resolved. The screen now loads significantly faster. We've also revamped the bulk-select controls: the checkbox at the top of the command column selects all rows on the current page, and new buttons in the Functions toolbar allow you to select or deselect all rows across all pages at once. New data fields visible in the screen include driver expenses, driver notes, margin value, margin percentage, paid status (Paid / Part / Not), card payment details, and currency.
When a corporate client pays a lump sum that covers multiple invoices, you can now handle it in seconds. Record the payment once in the Transactions tab of the client record, select the relevant invoices in the invoice list, and click Batch Pay in the toolbar. The system allocates the payment across all selected invoices simultaneously. This means no more going through them one at a time.
Invoices now display a clear paid status in the grid — Paid, Part, or Not. This means that your team has an immediate at-a-glance view of outstanding balances without having to open individual records.
The Diary — faster, sharper, more insightful
The Diary (also known as Dash4) is the operational heart of CDS. For dispatch teams running busy days, every second of load time matters and every piece of visible data must earn its place. This quarter's diary updates are some of the most operationally significant we've introduced.
The screen has had a notable speed improvement. A new single-day view option lets you limit the display to one day's data — speeding up load times further and keeping even the busiest days on a single screen without overflow. Daily margin is now shown alongside cost and price, giving dispatchers an instant read on profitability at a glance. A new toggle also lets you hide completed jobs to keep focus on what's live and upcoming. Remember to save your layout under Default or a named configuration for changes to persist.
The older Diary screens and Command Centre are no longer being actively maintained. If your team hasn't made the switch to the latest Diary, you're missing out on features, and falling behind on performance improvements. Now is the time to make the move.
Smarter reporting for luxury ground transportation operators
Data-driven decisions are what separate growing operations from stagnant ones. The best luxury ground transportation software doesn't just manage your day-to-day. It tells you what's working, where your business is coming from, and where the margin is. This quarter's reporting updates make CDS's analysis tools significantly more powerful.
Response times for complex reports have been improved, making the Pivot Table viable for serious analysis on large datasets. Three new dimensions have been added: Origin (how each job entered the system — Passenger App, CDS Connect, manual entry, etc.), Source (your user-defined referral field — internet, recommendation, corporate account, etc.), and Occasion (the new marketing field described below). A hire count bug that was causing incorrect totals has also been fixed.
GNet, CDS Connect, and growing your network
One of the defining advantages of the CDS cloud-based chauffeur software platform is the ability to build and manage a trusted partner network, both locally and globally. This quarter we've improved the tools that power those connections.
Status updates now appear in both the sending and receiving hire logs, giving both sides of a GNet transfer a clearer, real-time view of job progress.
The Connect partner map had started to feel sluggish as the CDS ecosystem grew. Performance has been significantly improved so you can quickly scan and identify potential partners.
We've adjusted how pricing works over GNet. If you use GNet actively, review your formula setup to ensure everything is aligned with the updated pricing behaviour.
Smaller updates that matter in practice
The best chauffeur booking and dispatch software is also one that sweats the details. Not ignoring the small improvements that quietly make daily operations smoother. Here's everything else that's been introduced or improved this quarter.
##PICKUP_DATETIME_DAY## appends the day of the week to your date/time (e.g. 21/06/2026 10:20 Wednesday), and ##PICKUP_DATETIME_LONG## formats the date in long form (e.g. 21st June 2026 10:20).
##BOOKING_NO## and ##HIRE_NO## are now available in invoice email templates. When an invoice covers multiple bookings or hires, the codes chain them together with commas automatically.
The chauffeur industry is more competitive than ever. Corporate clients are more demanding, passengers expect app-quality experiences, and the operations behind a premium service must be flawless. The right chauffeur management software should be making all of that easier and not adding to the burden.
Every update in this list came directly from feedback from operators like you: companies running premium fleets, serving demanding clients, and pushing CDS to be the best it can be. If you have questions about any of the features above, want to explore the white-label app option, or want to see what the new widget looks like on your site, get in touch with the team.
